I began running in elementary school all the way through freshman year of High School after 2 national cross country competitions. My fastest mile was 5:31, but my favorite event was the 400m
As soon as the snow melts I pump up the tires to my bike and mountain bike all day long. I ride all day long through the woods, only stopping for some snacks and water along the way.
As soon as the snow starts falling I can be found on the mountains of Vermont skiing, snowboarding and sometimes even telemarking. I log over 60 days on snow each season at over 6 resorts
I have been part of Team Rock in New Rochelle for 4 years. My hardest climbs are as boulder V-6; Top rope and lead 5.12. In 2012 I was Team Capitan, but even without that title I am still a leader.
I have played the clarinet in my school band since 4th grade. Now I am second chair in Greenwich High School’s Symphony Band and also play the clarinet in the marching band. In 2013 I traveled with the band to Havanna, Cuba!
In 6th grade I bought my first Rubik’s cube and spent hours memorizing algorithms to manipulate the cube. My fastest recorded time is 38.33 seconds, but I can easily beat 1 minute 20 seconds consistently.
Since fourth grade I have been in the scouting program and am now the rank of Eagle Scout. As a scout I have also attended 2 National Scout Jamborees and been to Philmont twice
Current Rank: Eagle Scout
Stats: After 9 years (and counting!) of scouting I have hikes over 380 miles on 73 camping nights. As well as backpacking, I have also volunteered over 100 hours of my time to community service. For my Eagle Scout Project in Mianus River Park I had a total of 80.5 hours of volunteer work between about 20 people. During my service I learned the importance of delegating tasks and managing my own team
Philmont: I have attended Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, NM twice (2011 and 2013). In 2011 I was Wilderness Guia and in 2013 I was Trek Leader
Jamboree: I attended the National Scout Jamboree twice (2010 and 2013). In 2013 I was Assistant Senior Patrol Leader
